
Nik Noone joined Respect as National Lead for our Young Peoples Service (RYPs) in October 2022, her role assumes operational leadership of the RYPs team and has a focus on establishing and growing partnerships with commissioners, services, and key stakeholders.
Nik has worked in the voluntary sector for almost 20 years' the majority of this time has been focused on tackling disadvantage, discrimination, violence and abuse, in roles including Director of Off Centre (Young Persons charity); CEO of Galop (The UKs’ LGBT+ specialist anti-violence charity); CEO Interim support - Breakthrough UK (A charity promoting Disabled people's rights) and Associate Practice Consultant at Safe Lives (a leading National Domestic Abuse charity).
Nik originally studied Business and Technology at university but more recently returned to uni to study Law, gaining a post graduate diploma in Law (PGDL).
After many years living and working in London Nik returned back ooop North full time in 2020 to enjoy a more relaxing pace of life in a small village and to have more time with her partner, family, friends and her jack russell / yorkie cross ‘Cookie’ who brings joy and chaos to her life in equal endearing amounts!
